Otterflow uses a focused layout: a global bar at the top, a tabbed workspace on the left, and an AI chat panel on the right.
📷 Placeholder: full interface — label the global bar, tabbed workspace, and collapsible chat panel.

Main layout

  • Global bar. Shows the current workspace and contains settings, theme, and chat-panel controls.
  • Tabbed workspace. Opens files, code previews, PDFs, references, and LaTeX projects side by side. Use the folder button to open the file manager.
  • Chat panel. Send requests, read responses, and follow AI actions. Its header includes new-conversation and history controls.
Drag the divider to resize the chat panel. Use Ctrl/Cmd + U to collapse or expand it. Content selected on the left can be quoted into chat; files created or changed by AI return to the file manager.

Global bar

Use the workspace control to return to My workspaces and switch projects. Settings manage account, model, and preferences. Theme control changes the appearance. Some plans also show the remaining quota in the top bar.

Workspace and files

The file manager shows the current project tree. Create files or folders, refresh the list, and open content in tabs. Controls for LaTeX projects and maximizing the active tab are also available near the tab area.

Chat panel

Create a new conversation to clear context, or open history to continue an earlier conversation. The picture-in-picture control can turn the app into a narrow, always-on-top chat window at the screen edge.
